About

The international relationship between Canisius College (based in Buffalo, NY) and Universidad Iberoamericana (more commonly known as IBERO, based in Puebla, MX) has begun as of June 2019! A group of five students of varying age, majors, ethnicities, backgrounds and familiarity with Spanish and travelling took the leap to be the first students from Canisius College to spend an adventure-filled month studying in Mexico.

The four weeks consisted of classes at the university, home stays with families within the community, field trips, excursions every weekend, delicious food, rich culture, and of course, Spanish.

Look around the website to hear directly from the students, read about the excursions and classes, contact the coordinator of the trip (Richard Reitsma of Canisius), have your questions answered and most importantly — find out how you can participate!
